Bridge safety works

Essential safety works are to be carried out on Station Road railway bridge in Cross Gates.

The bridge, which carries the A6120 Station Road over the Leeds to Selby railway line and is located next to Cross Gates Railway Station, needs work to remove loose concrete to the bridge beams over the railway line.   These works can only be safely carried out overnight.

The works will take place on the following dates and times:-

• Saturday 13 March from 10pm until 8am on Sunday 14 March
• Saturday 20 March from 10pm until 8am on Sunday 21 March
• Saturday 27 March from 10pm until 8am on Sunday 28 March

Breaking tools will have to be used to remove the concrete, which unfortunately will generate some noise.  We will endeavour to carry out the works as quickly and as quietly as possible, and apologise in advance for any disturbance caused.

If you require any further information about these works, please contact Martin Jackson on 0113 247 6193.
